WHAT IS FENG SHUI? Simply put, it is the intentional aligning of the energies in your environment so that you benefit by being there. This is done by the combination of moving furniture, shifting colors, removing blockages, balancing elements, doing cures and removing things that do not support you.
Although the word “Feng Shui” is Chinese, the principles have been practiced for thousands of years throughout the East. It offers guidelines that can be used to shape our environments for maximum flow.
Scientists have long proven that everything has an energy and everything in your environment is “vibrating” at a specific frequency. The combination of everything around you creates it’s own unique vibration or “sound”. By applying Feng Shui concepts to any environment, we change the “song” and recalibrate it to one that “sounds” better. The people who are in that environment feel better in that “higher” vibration.
By practicing Feng Shui, you can use your environment as a place of energetic support, which then leads to so much; more productivity, flow and more of anything you want to create in your life.
What can I expect from a Feng Shui consultation? A consultation generally takes anywhere from 1 to 2 ½ hours depending on the size of your property. Upon our meeting, I will talk to you about Feng Shui, ask you some questions and have you “introduce” me to your home or business after which I’ll ask you to give me some time to observe alone (usually about 20 to 30 minutes for an average home or business).
After that, we walk together and discuss energy flow, blockages, furniture placement, art, and the balance of elements, color and shapes as it relates to your environment. I will also identify key energetic areas relating to the Bagua such as wealth, marriage, career, children, etc. which I will instruct you how to enhance. If you are missing any areas I will also talk about cures and how to “cure” it.

Where we can we will experiment with various remedies on the spot so that you can immediately see and feel the difference in the before-and-after. I’ll recommend “cures” that are manageable and easy to do such as changing the placement of your bed, or adding plants for more “wood” energy. Testing for dangerous EMF’s (Electromagnetic Frequency) is also included as part of the consultation.
By the time I leave, you will have a list of things to do that will bring more harmony, balance and flow to your home. I will always tell you why I am suggesting you do the things that I recommend so that it makes sense to you.
