•Do you come to my home or business to do Feng Shui?
Yes, a Feng Shui consultation takes place at the physical location so that I can see the whole picture and experience the energy first hand.

•Do you tape the session?
I don’t tape the Feng Shui sessions but I do recommend that you have a pen and paper handy for all the suggestions I give you at the end after the assessment. You are welcome to tape or video the session if you like.

•Can I have my friends come over and hear what you have to say?
Many people want to have their friends sit in so they can maximize my visit, use it as an opportunity, and get ‘tips’ for their home as well. A Feng Shui consultation is very personalized and the information I share is specifically for you. When I come to your home or business, I bring with me a certain amount of energy that I plan to give to you and your family or your business, and this includes my knowledge and experience.

Sharing my findings and the Feng Shui concepts with every person who lives in the home or that is involved in the business is very empowering and valuable. When the same information is shared with those who do not live in the home, or work in the business the energy becomes diluted and dispersed and the energetic value is lowered.

If you decide that you would like to have someone who isn't a part of the daily environment of that space "sit in" on our consultation, I ask for an additional $90 over the standard fee and ask that you let me know in advance of our appointment.This will insure an even exchange of energy, so that all present can feel the value of the information shared. The consultation will still be fully focused on your environment and in this way there will be no loss of energy.

•How long are your sessions?
It depends on the size of your property, but it is safe to say that studios and 1 BR are one hour or less, 2 BR-3BR about 1 ½ hours and large properties would take up to two hours. Generally small businesses take about 1 ½ hours and up.

You do not need to be with me the whole time. I usually talk to you about 10-15 mins, then you leave me alone to assess for about 20-30 mins, and we come back together at the end to discuss my findings and talk about things to do to shift the energy.

•What do I need to do to prepare for your visit?
There is nothing you need to do — I’ve seen it all. If you want to begin to de-clutter, that is always a good first step but there is nothing specific that I need you to do to help the consultation be better.

•Does everyone need to be there for the consultation?
No, but it’s nice if the other members of the home or business take an interest and listen to what I am saying and why I am there. It helps to get everyone on the same page and mostly everyone, even if they are not “into” Feng Shui can hear the common sense of what I am saying and get motivated.

•Do I have you over before I move in or after I move in? Does everyone need to be there for the consultation?
Ideally, if you have the budget, you would have me come over before to help you with the positioning of the furniture, the bed, sofas, paint colors, etc. Then have me back after you’ve moved in for the final touches in the plants, pictures, area rug colors, etc. 

If this is not possible then I think the best is to have me over after you move in, and if the furniture could be moved to a better place I can let you know at that time. As well, we could do all the other final touches so you could have a complete experience.

•What type of Feng Shui or school do you follow? 
There are many different schools of Feng Shui and the two most common are the compass school and the Black Sect, or BTB Feng Shui or also known as “Entrance Based Feng Shui”. I was trained in the BTB Feng Shui Schoolbased on the teachings of Grandmaster Lin Yun www.yunlintemple.org who is responsible for brining the philosophy of Feng Shui to the US. I combine this school with my unique ability to translate the energy of an environment.

•Do you need my birth information to do a Feng Shui consultation?
No, I don’t. The Compass School of Feng Shui will use the birth time to determine directions but since I measure energy flow from the door, there is no need for your birth time.

•Will you tell me something l don’t want to hear or can’t do anything about? That’s what I’m most afraid of. 
No, of course not. My purpose in coming to your home and business is not to focus on the negative, but to look at your space and see what we can do to raise the energy and make it feel better energetically.  I will suggest things to do to create a better flow or balance. If there is anything that could be considered a block in your environment, I will look for ways to minimize its presence.

•How does one become a Feng Shui Consultant?
I attended many Feng Shui intensive Training programs both private and in a school setting on the mainland. If you are interested, I am offering a Feng Shui Practitioners Training Course May 16-20, 2008. The January class was amazing and the March class is full. •What if I can’t afford a Feng Shui Consultation?
I suggest you purchase my basic Feng Shui DVD called “Feng Shui Demystified”. It is 75 mins of information that you can use immediately to understand how to create a better environment for yourself.

•Can you come and do just a room in the house for a portion of the fee?
Feng Shui is about the entire structure and how it is supporting you. Sometimes you live with others though, and share common areas and they are not into Feng Shui and do not have a desire to do this. In this case, I can come and just do the room that you are sleeping in to make that as positive as possible for you.

•How do I decide if I need a blessing or not?
Blessings are used to clear any energy that is not supporting you on unseen levels. I think of it like a deep energy cleansing. Many people will have blessings when they first move in to clear out the energy of the past owners or tenants. If you just went through a major change in your life that has been traumatic or challenging, those thoughts and emotions that you felt still remain in the etheric energy of the space and a blessing will help to clear it out. A blessing resets the energy on a “high” note so that you can begin to create from a higher pattern and base.

Just think how you feel when you really need to take a shower or a bath and you finally do. When you come out and put your clean clothes on, you feel refreshed.  Doing a blessing on your environment is kind of like that.  For more information on my blessings, click here.

•What if I think I have spirits in my place, can you help me get rid of them?
Anytime you have energetic beings from another dimension disrupting your life here on earth, you do them a great service if you help them to go to where they need to go, as they are “caught” between dimensions so to speak. It will not only help you but will  help them as well.

When I do a blessing, if I sense or know that there are beings that are there, I will create a portal of light to help them transition into the next realm.
