Planets in Signs
by Skye Alexander
This is a book that describes what it means to have a certain planet in a certain sign from the Moon to Pluto.  Also has a great section on the four elements, and the three modalities.  Clear easy to read text.  Is not a “teaching” manual as much as it is a book of information.

Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs
by Linda Goodman
This is a bestseller with over 6 million copies in print.  The classic book that describes all the energies of the zodiac, has detailed chapters about each sign.  For example:  Aries:  The Aries Man, The Aries Woman, The Aries Child, The Aries Boss and Employee.  Very good for understanding the pure energies of the signs.  Does not teach you how to read your chart.
