Alice’s education is both classical and non-traditional. Born in San Francisco and raised in Taiwan from the age of eight, she entered the University of California as a pre-med student and earned a degree in Biology at the age of twenty. Rather then enter medical school at that time, Alice traveled to Japan to teach English. Already fluent in English and Mandarin, she added Japanese to her linguistic skills and cultural studies. Along this journey she worked as an educator, piano teacher, aerobics instructor, translator and model.
After moving to Hawaii in 1989, Alice entered the world of business as an administrative assistant, moving into the role of an operations manager soon after. In an unexpected shift, she jumped into the world of media, first debuting as a live-daily TV show host, followed by years as a bilingual News Anchor and host of her own weekly Japanese TV show. During this time Alice also served as spokesperson for a multitude of companies.
Inspired by inner guidance and a long-standing interest in spirituality, Alice once again made a dramatic shift in her life path and became an ordained minister. Building on a scientific, historical and practical understanding of ancient mystical arts and philosophies, she then began rigorous self-study, as well as intensive studies with respected masters of feng shui and Astrology.
Within this confluence of eastern and western philosophy, Alice draws from her multi-cultural life experience, eclectic training, diverse work history, and keen insights into human behavior to serve as a “Life Guide.” She uses her understanding of life cycles and timing, environmental dynamics, and spiritual wisdom to help people achieve their dreams and goals. Through her consultations, Alice helps individuals remove the blocks that hold them back and find ultimate purpose and meaning in their life.

Alice writes the Astrology and feng shui column for the high-traffic website www.dannion.com (by international best-selling author Dannion Brinkley) as well as for the popular Japanese publication Aloha Street. She is a contributing author to the national best seller, Wake Up…Live the Life You Love with Passion, a compilation of self-development philosophies by great thinkers such as Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra.
Alice’s passion is continually focused on her journeys with Kahu Fred Sterling (www.kirael.com) as they share with the world through seminars and workshops their jointly pioneered philosophy “Denjé”, which they believe evolved into modern feng shui practices.
