Alice Inoue shines with an extraordinary passion and zest for life. Her multi-cultural life experience and eclectic training are the basis for her current path as a “Life Guide,” which enables her to share her wisdom and inspirations individually and through workshops and seminars around the world.
Alice’s education is both classical and non-traditional. Born in San Francisco and raised in Taiwan from the age of eight, she entered the University of California as a pre-med student and earned a degree in Biology at the age of twenty. Rather than enter medical school at that time, Alice traveled to Japan to teach English. Already fluent in English and Mandarin, she added Japanese to her linguistic skills and cultural studies.
After moving to Hawaii in 1989, Alice entered the world of business as an administrative assistant and, soon after, moved into the role of operations manager. In an unexpected shift, she entered the world of media, first debuting as host of a daily live TV show, followed by years as a bilingual news anchor and host of her own weekly Japanese TV show. During this time, Alice also served as spokesperson for a multitude of companies.
Inspired by inner guidance and a long-standing interest in spirituality, Alice again made a dramatic shift in her life path and became an ordained minister. Soon after, she began rigorous self-study as well as intensive studies with respected masters of feng shui and astrology.
Since then, she has married over 400 couples, advised thousands worldwide on their life cycles through astrology, and offered her feng shui expertise to many hundreds of homeowners and businesses in all parts of the world. She has made numerous guest appearances on radio and television and has been prominently featured in all major state publications, such as Midweek, Hawaii Business Magazine, Pacific Business News, Honolulu Advertiser, Star-Bulletin, Midweek, Homescapes, and Hawaii Home & Remodeling.
In addition to her work with individual clients, Alice also serves as a presenter and workshop leader to both corporate and private audiences around the globe.
Alice is a contributing author in the national best seller, Wake Up…Live the Life You Love with Passion, a compilation of self-development philosophies by great thinkers such as Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. In 2008, she published her own book, A Loving Guide to These Shifting Times, a navigational tool offering a wealth of inspiration during this unmistakable age of unprecedented change.
In 2008, she also joined forces with Oceanic Time Warner Cable to produce a series of feng shui instructional DVDs based on her signature presentations, the third of which is to be released in February 2009. Her second book, a guided meditation CD, and a wisdom card deck are set to debut in 2009.
Always speaking the words of her heart, Alice has a passion that is contagious and awakens those she meets to seeing a new light within their own lives.
